A referral is required from your GP or other medical specialist prior to booking an appointment with us. This includes drivers licence appointments. Referrals are sent electronically via Healthlink (EDI riverd3e).

If the medical referral is missing required information, we may need to contact your referring doctor before scheduling your appointment.

Drivers licence reviews

Routine driver’s licence appointments will be triaged and scheduled based on clinical need, rather than licence expiry date. Appointments will not be scheduled unless the referral is accompanied by a Optometrist/Ophthalmologist and Podiatrist assessment in the last 6 months. A letter can be provided to the licensing authority confirming your date of appointment. Please contact us if this is required.
